Triangular Numbers

A couple days ago, a friend of mine came to me with a Project Euler problem on Triangular Numbers. He had solved it but for some reason, his solution ran for too long. He asked me to solve alongside. Being my lazy self, I asked for his code so I could optimize that instead of writing the whole solution from scratch. He gladly gave it to me. So happy, less work. It did not turn out that way though…

How to beat Facebook’s Security Questions with Facebook

Recently, I logged into my Facebook account only to be greeted with a page that asks me to upgrade my security information. The first step is to verify your email address; the default is your default login email address. Next, Facebook asks you to provide a phone number for your account; the default, if you are signed up for Facebook Mobile, will be the phone number with which you signed up. Lastly, Facebook suggests some security questions to strengthen the security of your account. This is where my spidey senses started beeping. Frozen Eggs

Abstract: Curiosity about frozen eggs. The actions started from around 6pm on the 10th of December.

At 6pm I felt hungry for some protein in my life and decided to boil a couple eggs.

6:15, my mind creeped up on me – ever so subtly too, never knew he was there – and said, “we all know what happens to eggs when they are heated. How about when they are frozen?” He was right! I didn’t know what frozen eggs were like. So I asked him the same question. “well there’s only one way for us to find out now”, he replied. So I threw me cooked eggs in a bowl of water at room temperature and tossed it into the freezer.
